LOCAL PLAN & ORDINANCE REVIEW
• Initial review completed of local plans and
land use ordinances (Gatesville pending).
• Included all cities and counties that were
part of the stakeholder interviews
• Review included zoning and subdivision
ordinances, comprehensive plans, building
codes, charter / form of government, ETJ
and military coordination protocol.
GIS DATA COLLECTION
• GIS data collection progressing well.
• Primary coordination occurring with CTCOG
and Fort Hood DPW.
• Approximately 270 different data layers
collected for the region to date.
• Beginning to develop parcel based existing
land use data (focusing on area within 2
miles of Fort Hood)
